Telstra Australia Ships Pixel Pre-Order One Week Early by Accident

Google unveiled its two exciting smartphones last week and while pre-orders are live in multiple countries, the Pixel and Pixel XL will start shipping only next week. Specifically, the two phones are expected to be released on October 20, but at least one customer got his order sooner.

Telstra Australia reportedly sent a Pixel smartphone to one customer who pre-ordered it, one week ahead of the official release. The user took to Reddit to talk about the smartphone that he had just received and to share some pictures taken with the Pixel. The user also shared a video, unboxing pictures, images of the earbuds and settings screenshots.
