And So It Begins: First Huawei Phone Dead on Its Feet Due to US Ban
The US restrictions announced earlier this month against a series of Chinese companies, including Huawei, have just made the first victim.
The Honor 20 Pro, which was launched earlier this week with an ETA of July 2019 might never see daylight due to the lack of Android certification.
According to 01net and WinFuture, not having the Android certification means the Honor 20 Pro can’t make its way to European markets with Google’s operating system, services, and apps. On the other hand, it can go on sale in China, where Google apps aren’t available in the first place, but it’s pretty clear this means it’d only experience low sales.
