Gboard Update for Android Brings Ability to Recognize Hand-Drawn Emojis

Google has just brought a new update to one of the tech giant’s proprietary apps, Gboard. The update makes Gboard smarter by improving the typing quality using machine intelligence and bringing new and creative ways to enhance user experience.

Google Gboard can now recognize hand-drawn emojis automatically. In the emoji search box, users can now tap on the emoji handwriting icon to start drawing emojis directly onto the screen. Gboard opens a special panel on the bottom and provides users with suggestions of emojis as they draw, so they wouldn’t necessarily need to complete the drawing before identifying the emoji that they were looking for in the first place.
