Google Camera Port Finally Brings Portrait Mode to Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8

The Google Camera port is being made available on a multitude of platforms, and it looks that Portrait Mode, one of the most coveted features, is finally working on Samsung Galaxy S7, S8, and Note 8.

As it stands right now, the Portrait Mode from the official Google Camera app that’s available with the Pixel 2 lineup is pretty much the most prominent feature, although it’s not the only one. In fact, there are quite a few other interesting options, but not many people seem to care about those.

Even if Google didn’t make an effort to allow other devices to run its Camera app on other devices, it doesn’t mean that the community can’t do anything about it. Soon after the application was made available with Pixel 2, people have started to port it or its features.
