Google Chrome to Get Tab Previews a la Microsoft Edge
While Google Chrome is the browser of all browsers, it doesn’t mean it also has everything it needs, but every single update brings new features supposed to improve its usability.
One of the improvements that Google is currently exploring is believed to be tab previews, a feature that is already available in other browsers, including Microsoft Edge.
Basically, tab previews come in handy especially when working with multiple tabs and figuring out which page is which is much more difficult, mostly in case the tab title is shortened. Tab previews allow you to take a peek at a page thumbnail by simply moving the mouse cursor over the tab, and this is exactly the way it works in the default Windows 10 browser too.
And as it turns out, Google wants the exact same behavior in Chrome too, so the company is now working on what it calls Tab Hover Cards for its browser.
