Google Reveals New Chrome Features Coming to Desktop and Mobile

Google has announced a series of improvements coming to Chrome browser on both desktop and mobile in future updates.

One of the first features to get the go-ahead is a new grid layout for tabs on Android. Already available on iOS, this new feature will provide enhanced tab management, basically allowing users to drag and drop tabs on the screen, group tabs, and keep things organized much better overall.

This feature will go live “over the next few weeks,” Google says.

On desktop, better tab management will be possible with a more polished tab bar that will no longer display titles when you have a plethora of pages loaded in the browser. The tab preview thumbnail helps a lot here, as you can easily determine which website is which by simply hovering a tab with the mouse cursor.
