Download FormLimiter for Google Forms
Hello everyone, you can download FormLimiter for Google Sheets. Before you do that, I hope you are all having a great day so far, I am just sitting here with some extra tabs open, in one tab I am writing this post, in the other tab I am re-learning about the String Theory. I have always been fascinated by it and I randomly find myself every couple of years going trying to learn a bit more about it. Anyway, please read on…
Today we will highlight yet another popular app, yesterday I posted about Autocraft for Google Sheets and a lot of you emailed me(about 4 emails), telling me I should continue to add more of these add-ons and that is exactly what we will be doing from this day forward. We will be adding at least 2-3 add-ons each week for Slides, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, Docs, Calendar and Google Drive. With that said, I honestly thing formLimiter(yes, the authors spell it like that without a space and a capital L) is a must have add-on for your Google Forms mainly because it is needed. Who wouldn’t want to set a limit on the number responses they get at a set time or date? I believe most of us using these forms need this ability and this is what this add-on does. I wouldn’t be surprised if in a couple of years or less, this becomes a standard feature, it just seems like a no-brainer to be included by default when you download or load Forms. Let us know in the comments below what you think about it and if you, your school or organization find it useful.

What is FormLimiter About?
FormLimiter automatically sets Google Forms to stop accepting responses after a maximum number of responses, at a specific date and time, or when a spreadsheet cell contains a specified value. Great for time-bound assignments, event registrations with limited seats, or other first-come, first-served sign up scenarios.
It is easy to setup and set the limit, below are some of the basic features that come with it after you install it as an add-on.
Maximum number of responses
- Form evaluates on each new submission and shuts off once a limit has been reached.
Specific date and time
- Timer will shut off form on that date, down to the minute.
