Hello everyone, You can now download the Amazon Shopping app on your Chromebook and enjoy shopping for your favorite items on a larger screen.

Today, we want to share some reasons why we think you should try this popular app on your ChromeOS device. It has been installed over 500 million times on the Google Play Store, and we think it’s worth giving it a try. I have been a fan of shopping on Amazon ever since eBay pissed me off many years ago but that’s a story for another day lol. When it comes to getting quality stuff at good prices, I don’t think many places can beat Amazon when it comes to quality assurance and speed of delivery. Anyway, I have tried this app and it does the job, it is much better to actually use your Chromebook in tablet mode when you are opening this app and it feels great, I just wish some of these apps came pre-installed with ChromeOS but that is yet a story for another day. What I really liked is the live chat support and the ability to actually view some of the products you want to buy in a 360 3D view, it’s an interesting little feature that I think will catch on.

I am glad to report that this app worked perfectly on my backup Lenovo Duet 2-1 Chromebook. Just a heads up, you’ll need a Chromebook with a touchscreen to run this app. If you’re not sure if your Chromebook is compatible, you can check our list of Chromebooks that can run Android apps and games.
