Sketchbook for Chromebook
Hello everyone, you can download Sketchbook for Chromebook and experience using a professional drawing app that allows to paint and sketch what you want.
Install Sketchbook As Android App
To get started with Sketchbook on your Chromebook, you must first download the app, the link is below.
- Launch Google Play Store on your Chromebook.
- Search “Sketchbook” or Download Sketchbook for ChromeOS.
- Once Sketchbook is installed, you can launch it from the Google Play Store app or by clicking on the Sketchbook app icon in your Chromebook’s app launcher.
Today we will highlight some reasons why we think you should go ahead and give this app a try on your ChromeOS devices. I have to admit that I have NOT tried this on my Chromebook but I did search around the web and I found that this app does indeed work on a Chromebook and it actually CAN support pressure sensitized pens on Pen enabled Chromebooks. The App is free so you don’t lose anything to try in your Chromebook, this app would work better for those of you with the 2 in 1 Chromebooks that can activate tablet mode like one of my backups, the Lenovo Duet 2-1 Chromebook. If you were also wondering why we are even sharing this app its because it used to be at one-time owned by Autodesk, the people who brought you AutoCAD which is still a very popular CAD program because it gets the job done. I am not sure when but apparently Autodesk sold off the Sketchbook app to a company now known as Sketchbook Inc and they are the ones that continue to update the app, add new features etc and they have been doing a pretty good job of it so far as the Android app has well over 100 million installations and counting.
Like we stated earlier, you will need a touchscreen enabled Chromebook so make sure if you decide to play it on your Chromebook, check our list of Chromebooks that can run Android apps and games. If your Chrome OS device is on the list or if it was made after 2017, it can most likely run this app without any issues. Let us know in the comments what you think about this game, the perfect app for those of you who want to improve your artist skills or show them off to interested people.
