SoundCloud on Chromebook

Hello everyone, you can download SoundCloud for Chromebook and use one of the most popular music services out there. I honestly thought SoundCloud would maybe be bought out by one of these big companies, Microsoft or something but nope, the company is still privately held and doing good enough it seems to survive in the streaming music business.

Today we will showcase why we think you should definitely give this app a try on your ChromeOS devices. SoundCloud made it’s debut in 2007 and has since then become a go-to platform for music lovers and creators alike. I used to use SoundCloud a lot back in the days, especially in my highschooler days when half of my friends suddenly wanted to become musicians, producers, DJ’s and so on so I always found myself visiting the SoundCloud websites. But I’ll admit, it has been more than 10 years since I visited SoundCloud and browsed the website for more than 1 minute and that was until today afternoon when it just popped in my head and I decided to post about, so I haven’t really used it but I am sure a lot of you out there still do use it, I have been more of an Apple Music and YouTube music guy, but I know a lot of people still love SoundCloud so that is why I have decided to share it. Anyway, if you’re not sure if your Chromebook is compatible with Google Play Store, you can check our list of Chromebooks that can run Android apps and games. If your device is on the list or was made after 2017, it should be able to run this app without any problems. If you decide to try it out on your device, let us know how it goes in the comments.
