Google is expanding its AI tools for Chrome users this summer, adding new features to Search and introducing information agents. The company says the updates will make the browser more useful for everyday tasks.
Information agents roll out first to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Users can type “keep me updated” into the search bar to create an agent, and then see their active agents in the side panel of AI Mode in Search.
Google also brings Antigravity and the coding power of Gemini 3.5 Flash into Search. This lets Search build a layout that fits a question perfectly, with dynamic visuals and interactive elements created on the spot. The generative UI features will let you create custom experiences free for all users this summer.
Projects that go beyond a single query become ongoing tasks. With mini apps, Search can code full custom tools, dashboards or trackers, making it easy to keep returning to tasks such as planning a wedding or managing a home move.
