Today we will highlight some reasons why we think you should definitely go ahead and give this board game a try on your ChromeOS devices. I haven’t played Monopoly for the last 10 years or more. I used to love it as a kid playing with my family, especially my dad, he was really good at the game but I knew he always cheated somehow, how come he never lost?? He can’t be THAT good, can he? Ahhh, he passed away so I can’t ask him how he always beat us but either way, I had a lot of fun back then. So now, the game has finally been released on Android meaning that as long as your Chromebook was made in 2017 or new, it should be able to install Monopoly Go without a problem.

A quick note, I have noticed that some people on Chromebooks have had some issues getting past the “I agree” screen that comes up, I haven’t had this problem on my Chromebook but I have seen a few people complain but for the majority, it seems to work just fine, just be aware of this issue.

Check our list of Chromebooks that can run Android apps and games. If your Chrome OS device is on the list or if it was made after 2017, it can most likely run this game without any issues. Let us know in the comments what you think about this game, the perfect game for those of you who have plenty of time to kill whether at home or at work as you play a popular board game.

What is Monopoly GO game about?

Monopoly GO is a board game that works on your Chromebook and brings the classic game to life in a new and exciting way. Using your phone’s GPS, the game places you on a real-world Monopoly board, where you can buy properties, build houses and hotels, and charge rent to your opponents. It reminds me of Dice Dreams, sort of.

Monopoly GO is designed for fast-paced, on-the-go gameplay. Matches are typically much shorter than traditional Monopoly games, making them perfect for when you have a few minutes to spare. You can compete against other players from around the world in real time, or challenge your friends to private matches.

One of the most unique features of Monopoly GO is its landmarks system. As you progress through the game, you can unlock and upgrade landmarks in different cities around the world. Landmarks give your properties special bonuses, such as increased rent or more houses and hotels.
